A bit of our history

Hello! I’m Marta Fernández de Vega Chávarri, a trained and licensed pharmacist and the owner of Fernández de Vega Pharmacy.

1905. Our Grand Opening

The pharmacy was originally established on Calle Cervantes, a 10 minute walk from its current location. 

1928. Our move to Calle Ancha

With more life, shops and influx of people than on Cervantes Street, the new location was a positive change for the pharmacy.

1976. The pharmacy becomes a family business

My father, Antonio Fernández de Vega Elosúa, took the control of the business, and that’s how years of work and effort, accompanied by great enthusiasm began and made the pharmacy an integral part of our lives.

In 1999 I entered into the picture to join the family business

I worked side by side with my father until he passed away in 2011.

Since that time, I have remained faithful to the human and professional values that he taught me:
